Meet the Coaches George Mulry
George Mulry - Head Coach
 | In five seasons as head coach of Longmeadow High School, Coach Mulry has led the Lancers to five League and Sectional championships ('07, '08, '09, '10, & '11). The 2007 championships were the first in program history and included an undefeated 16-0 league record. Mulry’s record at Longmeadow is 96-14 overall and 54-2 in league matches.
George previously coached the Holyoke High School boy’s junior varsity volleyball team guiding them to a record of 52-24 and the girl’s junior varsity volleyball team leading them to a record of 67-7 including a 17-0 record for the 2006 season. |
| Coach Mulry is the President and Co-Founder of the Pioneer Valley Volleyball Academy (PV Juniors), a Junior Olympic volleyball club. In the off-season, George coaches for PV Juniors and his 17 Open team won the 2010 New England Region 18 Open Championship and the 2011 New England 18 Open Championship under Sean MacDonald as an 18's team. Prior to starting PV Juniors, George coached at the WMass Junior Olympic Volleyball Club. Coach Mulry led his 2009 Open Level team to a 5th place finish in New England (including 1 gold and 2 silver medals). Mulry also led his teams to a 5th place finish out of 99 teams (including 3 silver medals) in 2007 as well as a 7th place finish out of 86 teams (including 1 silver medal) in 2006.

As a player, Coach Mulry played two years of high school volleyball at Holyoke helping the team to a quarter- and semi-final finish in the Western Mass Playoffs as defensive specialist and outside hitter. In college, George was also the starting defensive specialist
& outside hitter for the UMass club volleyball team.

To challenge players to become better individuals through constructive feedback, reasoning, and teamwork. Student-Athletes will develop specific sport skill, life skill, sportsmanship and the value of teamwork without sacrificing fun. To provide opportunities for young people to learn how to be successful adults. |
Coach Mulry graduated from UMass in 2003 with a Bachelors degree in Sport Management and is the Executive Director of the Volleyball Hall of Fame.
