  • 11/18/09 - The Lancers bid to reach their first state final was denied by Bourne in 5 intense sets. Game scores of 11-25, 25-22, 25-23, 18-25, 12-15 help tell the story

  • 11/17/09 - The Lancers Senior Captain and Outside Hitter Stephanie Lauria was named WWLP Athlete of the Week. See her story here!

  • 11/14/09 - It's a Three-Peat! The Lancers downed West Springfield 3-1 (25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 27-25) to earn their third straight Western Mass title. The Lancers face South Sectional Champion Bourne Wednesday November 18 at 7pm at Westborough High School

  • 11/12/09 - The Lancers advance to the Western Mass Finals and earn the chance for a third Western Mass title in as many years as they face second seeded West Springfield Saturday November 14 at 7pm at Holyoke Community College. The Lancers outlasted a stingy Chicopee Comp team in 4 sets (25-22, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22) to advance

  • 11/10/09 - Lancers topped Putnam 3-0. 25-3, 25-14, 25-17 and advance to the Western Mass. Semi-Final against 5th seeded Chicopee Comp Thursday Nov. 12 at 6pm at Longmeadow High School

  • 11/02/09 - Lancers earn the top seed in the 2009 MIAA West Div. II Tournament and open up play against 8th seeded Putnam Tuesday Nov. 10 at 7pm at Longmeadow High School. Click here for the full bracket

  • 10/30/09 - Lancers celebrated Senior Night honoring Katelyn Boutin, Stephanie Lauria, and Sara Underwood in a pre-match ceremony against Chicopee Comp. Junior Caroline Martin shattered the all-time match dig record popping up 49 balls

  • 10/19/09 - The Lancers Alison Donnelly named Springfield Republican Newspaper Athlete of the Week

  • 10/09/09 - Record night at Longmeadow as the Lancers Cady Deary recorded 35 Serve Receptions and 40 digs both are all-time school records. Anna McGann was added to the 15 kill club

  • 09/30/09 - Caroline Martin tied the all-time serve receive record with 29 receptions in the Lancer loss at Frontier

  • 09/25/09 - Ali Donnelly dished out the second most assists for a Lancer in a single match with 40 and Anna McGann was added to the 15-kill club after knocking down 16 kills in the Lancer win over League foe Amherst

  • 09/21/09 - Three Lancers added to the all-time record page after the win over Minnechaug. Steph Lauria scored a career-high 17 kills, Anna McGann served 18 points and 8 aces, while Alison Donnelly dished out 32 assists

  • 09/18/09 - Steph Lauria served 10 aces in the Lancer win over East Longmeadow. That is the second most aces ever served in a single match by an individual Lancer. The all-time record is 11

  • 12/09/08 - Lancer head coach George Mulry named 2008 National High School Coach of the Year finalist. The top honors went to Todd Garvey of Mercy Academy in Louisville, KY and Massachusetts' own Tom Turco (Barnstable).

  • 11/15/08 - The Lancers were awarded with the MIAA Team Sportsmanship Award at the State Final on Saturday for their outstanding allegiance to the ideals of sportsmanship

  • 11/14/08 - Four Lancer players honored as 2008 League All-Stars

  • 11/13/08 - The Lancers fell 3-0 in the State Semi-Final to a determined Central Catholic Raider team to finish a very successful season at 18-4 that included a back-to-back repeat as League & Sectional Champions

  • 11/08/08 - The Lancers are Western Mass Champs again following a 3-0 downing of East Longmeadow in the Final. The Lancers move on to face Central Catholic in the state semi-final at Algonquin HS in Northborough Thursday 11/13 at 7pm

  • 11/06/08 - Masslive.com - Chicopee Comp Interview & Gameplay

  • 11/06/08 - Led by Andrea Davis' 15 kills, the Lancers dispatched of the Chicopee Comp Colts in 3 games and are on their way to the Western Mass Final for the second straight year and will face top-seeded rival East Longmeadow in a much anticipated match-up Saturday 11/8 at 7pm.

  • 11/04/08 - The Lancers survived a scare in the quarter-finals coming away with a 3-2 victory over West Springfield. Andrea Davis set a new all-time dig record with 35 saves and was also added to the 15-kill club for knocking down 20 kills. Christina Mentor and Lynsey Keator bested the all-time block record combining for 10 total blocks. The second seeded Lancers face third seeded Chicopee Comp Thursday at Longmeadow 11/6 at 6pm

  • 10/29/08 - The Lancers are seeded second in the 9-team Western MA playoff field and open up with a home match vs. league foe West Springfield Tuesday 11/4 at 7pm

  • 10/28/08 - The Lancers stand alone as champions of the Eastern League after an amazing 3-2 win over Amherst on Senior Night. Andrea Davis knocked down a personal and all-time team record 26 kills, Natalie Zucker had a triple double including a personal and all-time team best 41 assists. Lynsey Keator and Jenna Carando also set personal records of 15 kills and 20 digs respectively

  • 10/23/08 - The Third Quarter issue of The Mintonette has been uploaded by the Booster Club

  • 10/22/08 - The Lancers clinched at least a share of the Eastern League crown with their 3-0 victory at West Springfield. The Lancers can take the title outright with a win over Amherst on Monday.

  • 10/18/08 - Natalie Zucker recorded a Triple Double in the Lancers dramatic 3-2 win at East Longmeadow

  • 10/14/08 - Andrea Davis served a record 7 straight aces in the Lancers 3-0 win over Ludlow

  • 10/10/08 - Natalie Zucker was named "Most Outstanding Player" at the Spalding Showcase of Champions

  • 10/07/08 - The Lancers qualified for the post-season with their 3-0 victory over Westfield

  • 10/14/07 - Congrats to Andrea Davis for earning "Most Outstanding Player" honors at the Volleyball Hall of Fame/Spalding Showcase of Champions. The Lancers fell in 5 games to Turners Falls. Davis recorded 12 kills, 10 service points, 2 aces, and 21 digs on her way to the award!
